- After-school tutoring: Additional instruction for certain students after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Rocky Mountain Children’s Choir: Rehearses once a week after school; performs twice per school year
- Balarat:Sponsors annual overnight visit for all 5th graders to the Balarat Outdoor Education Center northwest of Boulder
- Classroom and school-wide composting: A number of our classrooms are engaged in worm composting and we launched a schoolwide composting program to reduce our cafeteria waste in spring 2011!
- Cub Scouts: For 1st-5th grade boys; meets once a week after school.
- The Green Team: Upper Elementary-led environmental group that meets weekly, oversees school recycling and other environmental initiatives and gives presentations
