Upon completion of her Fulbright Scholarship, she remained in Vienna working at the International Atomic Energy Agency at the United Nations.   Later she taught English at the Berlitz School of Languages and English at the Vienna School of Economics and Webster University.  In addition to her having been a lead Montessori Lower and Upper elementary teacher since 2002 in the metro area, she also has been a student-teacher mentor (since 2009) and a teacher educator (since 2011) at the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies in Boulder in their summer teacher education program.  Her classrooms are beautifully structured and prepared to meet the needs of all types of learners.  She is an avid theater-fan and loves to bring performance art into her classroom to engage and motivate learners.  Movement, music, and lots of laughter are hallmarks of her classroom.  Her students remain appropriately challenged in all curriculum areas and work hard because it is fun.  When she is not teaching, she is writing poetry, acting in a local theater production, and enjoying Denver with her family where she was born and raised.
